About Conservatories.com: an independent conservatory guide

An independent guide to conservatories and orangeries in the UK: what each style, material and roof looks like, what it costs fitted, and how to find a good installer.

A desk in a conservatory with a laptop, an open notebook and a cup of coffee.

Most conservatory websites belong to a company that sells them, so none of them shows you the price. We do. Every product on this site shows what it typically costs fitted, including VAT, with the range most people pay and the things that push a quote up or down.

We don't build or fit conservatories. That lets us compare uPVC with aluminium and hardwood, or a national brand with a local FENSA installer, without a reason to prefer one.

Where the numbers come from

Guide prices are compiled from published UK price guides and trade sources, each one cited on the page it supports. They are indicative ranges, not quotations, and they are rounded so that nobody mistakes them for a quote. Regional prices scale the UK figure by local labour rates. Our pricing methodology sets out how all of it is put together.

Who writes it

Mike S edits the guides and checks the price data. Every page carries a byline and a last-reviewed date.

How this conservatory guide makes money

The site is published by Leads Do Work Ltd, which runs the quote service on it. When you request quotes, installers who cover your area pay us for the introduction, and some pages carry adverts. You pay nothing and you are under no obligation to accept any quote. Neither has any bearing on the prices we publish or the advice we give: see how we make money.

If we get something wrong

Tell us. The report a price form comes straight to us, and a report from someone who has just had the work done is the most useful thing we receive.
